In May 2020, a video of a Brooklyn barber cutting hair outdoors went viral — at a time when barber shops were closed due to the pandemic. “People were starting to look bad, and there was no end in sight,” The Post’s Kevin Sheehan said. Find out how he tracked down the mystery man in the latest episode of “Urban Legend.” With no address and no name, our host went on a wild goose chase for this anonymous haircutter.

Sheehan ended up matching an esplanade in Brighton Beach with the scene in the clip. “I looked down beside me and in the slats of the bench was a business card for a barber,” he explains. Turns out, the barber was Joe Munoz, of Level Up Cutz, who was desperate to earn money for his family. After the story went viral, however, the NYPD put a stop to it, and Munoz moved his operation underground.
